Summer Sports

In the summer, Residence Serra la Nave has different options for fun and activities in the open air. The extraordinary, striking countryside means that it is possible to discover nature by walking or trekking along the countless trails of Etna Park. It is even possible to reach the volcano's peak by mountain bike. More active guests can adventure off-road or on horseback, while sporty types can try their hands rock-climbing.
There are also many activities in the rivers or at sea - sailing, kayaking, rafting, canyoning and hydrospeeding, which will make your holiday even more exciting!

Excursions

Our excursions explore enchanting scenery and untouched nature.

Free Climbing

Technical course for beginners and guided excursions for experts. Our F.A.S.I instructors (Federazione Arrampicata Sportiva Italiana) will follow you in security, guaranteeing excitement and entertainment too. It is possible to organize lessons on the artificial wall of Acquaterra. Guided excursion or Climbing courses (8 lessons).

Mountain bike

Evocative trip as far as the runs on the top of the volcan, for the duration of two or three days. You have the possibility to enjoy your holidays in the unpolluted and free from every disturbance nature of Etna. If you want, you can stay overnight in the shelters.

Off Road 4x4

Suggestive off-road tours of one or more days with mythical Land Rover 110’s, absorbed into the wild nature. It is possible to spend the night in tents, refuges or farm holiday. Itinerary: lots of our tours are possible over the whole Sicilian territory, for this reason you can ask for the interested area and the level of difficulty. The guide will be in a position to choose the most suitable area.

Riding

You can go for a quiet walk in the ways of the Park and you will have the possibility to know a new kind of tourism.

Trekking

Excursions for the duration of two or three days in the Park where you have the opportunity to discover the most evocative paths which the show-shoes became more adventurous in the winter. If you want you can stay overnight in the characteristic torest shelters.
